Windows and doors

We will install the highest quality wooden doors and windows for this house. It is a major part of the of the design and the heat management, especially with these huge glass surfaces and sliding doors.

Glass:
3 layer glass, argon gas filling, warm edge spacers and Low-E metallic coating

Frame:
110mm thickness of layered European birchwood, triple rubber sealing, and durable, modern looking aluminum exterior cladding. Purenit insulation provides the structural support for balcony doors and sliding doors.

Shading:
Every window and door will have Schlotterer Retrolux 80D raffstore. This provides the protection from direct sunlight, while allowing to view outside and lets scattered light in. All controlled from a smart home system.

Heating and cooling

A 12kW monoblock heatpump generates the domestic hot water and the heating. In summer, it will automatically switch to cooling mode and chills the ceiling on both floors.

Air conditioning

Fresh air is vital for anyone. Many people still don't understand the importance of this device.

We are installing a Zehnder Comfoair ventilation unit with heat recuperator. It has very low noise and high capacity.

The fresh air is directed into the living room and the bedrooms, while the used air is sucked from the bathrooms, corridors and kitchen. All the piping is embedded into the ceiling, only the anemostat diffuser is visible.

Thermal insulation

Insulation not only protects the cold but also reduces the summer overheating.

We take great care in details of insulation. Under the sliding doors and balcony doors a special load bearing insulation is placed: PURENIT

• Walls: 20cm EPS with added graphite + insulated first row of bricks

• Floor: 20cm EPS for high load

• Roof with tiles: 30cm flame resistant cellulose insulation

• Roof with metal sheets: 20cm Bach tecta PUR insulation
